Instant Car Insure is an independent informational publisher and estimation tool. We are not an insurance carrier and do not issue insurance policies.
The core estimation tool is designed so that you can request an estimate without providing your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, driver's license number, or Social Security Number.
02 · Information We Do Not Require
For the core estimator: you are not required to identify yourself in order to receive a result.
The estimator may ask for information such as your ZIP code, age range, vehicle type and year, driving record status, and optional factors that help refine the estimate. These inputs do not, by themselves, require you to provide direct contact information.
03 · Information We May Collect
A. Automatically Collected Information
When you visit the site, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the dates and times of visits. We may use this information to understand site usage, maintain the Service, analyze trends, and improve performance.
B. Information You Voluntarily Provide
If you contact us through the Contact page, we may collect your name and email address so that we can respond to your inquiry.
C. Estimation Tool Inputs
Information entered into the estimation tool may include ZIP code, age range, vehicle type and year, driving history, credit score range, coverage level, deductible, continuous coverage history, and bundling preference. The current policy describes these inputs as being processed in real time within your browser to generate the result.
To confirm that a ZIP code exists and to identify its state, our server may send only the ZIP code (none of your other inputs) to the public lookup service Zippopotam.us, and may keep the result for that ZIP code for up to 30 days. To protect that service from abuse, the check also keeps a temporary counter linked to a hashed form of your IP address for up to one hour.
The policy also states that aggregated and anonymized estimation data may be retained to improve the accuracy of algorithms and understand market trends, without associating that information with your personal identity.

We use cookies and similar technologies that may support site functionality, analytics, advertising, and related measurement. Your browser may allow you to refuse or delete cookies, although some site features or third-party services may be affected.
